The Whippets won last Sunday afternoon. They played the Freeport Flyers and they won by a score of 3-2. It was a great game—it was one of those close, tight games where everything that happens means a lot because it’s so close.
Babe Ruth visits the town for an exhibition game against the Lake Wobegon Schroeders, in a monologue from 1985.
