It’s been chilly. It’s been sunny out there. The gardens are all in—everybody’s picked everything there is to pick. People are working on their yards now.

Pastor Liz avoids giving a sermon about a difficult verse, the Bakkes move to Arizona to care for Jack’s mother, and Darlene bumps into her old English teacher at the El Dorado Casino.
